Role Overview

 

We are seeking a Sales Manager (OEM/ODM – Outdoor Apparel) to expand Solamoda’s business with outdoor and sportswear brands in Germany, the UK, and the Nordics.

 

This is a manufacturing sales role – not retail or distribution. You will target sourcing, production, and product development teams inside brands, with the goal of winning OEM/ODM production contracts.

 

You will be expected to:

Build a new client pipeline
Secure RFQs (Request for Quotation)
Convert sampling into mass production
Grow Solamoda’s market share in Europe
The role is remote/hybrid with travel to our Swiss/EU office, brand HQs, and international trade fairs such as ISPO Munich (Nov 30 – Dec 2, 2025).

Key Responsibilities

Identify and engage outdoor/sports brands for OEM/ODM partnerships.
Secure meetings with sourcing and product managers; manage full sales cycle.
Lead costing/quotation with merchandising & IE teams (BOM, FOB/CM, MOQ, lead times, T&A).
Oversee sampling-to-bulk process in alignment with R&D and technical teams.
Negotiate commercial terms (pricing, capacity, payment, compliance, liability).
Maintain a 12–18 month sales pipeline with accurate forecasts and reports.
Represent Solamoda at ISPO and buyer meetings; prepare capability decks and follow-ups.
Collaborate with R&D on fabrics, trims, sustainability, and performance features (support role, not execution).

Candidate Requirements

5–10 years of sales experience in apparel manufacturing (OEM/ODM) – outdoor/sportswear strongly preferred.
Established network in outdoor/sportswear brands with sourcing/production teams.
Strong knowledge of garment production processes (wovens, knits, laminates, taped seams, DWR, down/synthetics).
Fluent in English & German (a Nordic language or French is a plus).
Skilled in Excel (costing), PowerPoint (presentations), CRM tools; PLM familiarity a plus.
Based in Switzerland or EU, with work authorization.
Willing to travel frequently within Europe.
