As a Retail Engineer you’ll be responsible for designing and building high quality, sustainable systems with empathy and compassion for our customers and fellow engineers

Your mission

1 month:
– Participate in code reviews making sure that our code is well designed, tested, robust, secure, performant and readable
– Ship your first new product feature, reliability improvement or optimization alongside engineers in your team
3 months:
– Introduce an important architectural improvement to our systems
6 months:
– Introduce new service or feature that will significantly improve our systems
– Seek out for opportunities to simplify and streamline systems and processes

Your story

Core:
– You are proficient in TypeScript
– You have a proven track record in developing, shipping and maintaining fault tolerant, reliable, and highly available distributed systems
– You have worked with message brokers or queuing systems (RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, or others)
Bonus:
– You have worked with monitoring and observability solutions (NewRelic, Prometheus)
– You have experience working with containerization and orchestration technology (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure as a code frameworks (Terraform, Helm)
– You have worked and integrated services with ERP (D365 F&O) and CRM (Salesforce)
– You have experience with GitHub workflows to automate CI/CD
– You are proficient with the NestJS back-end framework
