JOB MISSION: 

We are seeking a Retail Facility Health and Safety Specialist to efficiently resolve facility requests, lead all aspects of preventive maintenance, and develop health and safety programs. This role involves handling utilities contracts, controlling budgets, and handling vendor performance. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is important to maintain compliance with health, safety, and quality standards while supporting the company’s retail operations. 

 

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES: 

  • Support resolving all incoming Facility requests, running daily activities as needed. 

  • Support with planning and oversight of preventive maintenance and inspections. 

  • Support on the development of New Balance H&S program.  

  • Ensure compliance to H&S and quality standards. 

  • Set up of utilities contracts for new locations. 

  • Resolution of request related to utilities and energy management.  

  • Budget monitoring.

  • Support in the billing process and in the resolution of critical issues related to it.

  • Management of vendors (KPI, SLA, performance, etc.). 

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams and ensure accurate communication between partners on facilities and H&S initiatives.  

 

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS: 

  • Previous experience in Facilities and H&S. 

  • Previous experience working in the Retail sector. 

  • Proficient in English. Knowledge of another European language will be considered as a plus.

  • Relevant degree in engineering or Facility Management.

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office tools.  

  • Proactive, service-focused and cost conscious.  

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.  

  • Analytical and Problem-Solving ability 

  • Strong team-oriented attitude.
