Our distribution center in Cambrai ensures swift delivery to customers, while our 30+ Columbia stores adorn major European outlet centers. Finally, the Sales and Trade Marketing teams are displayed in 3 different regions across Europe, close to their customers and markets.

ABOUT THE TEAM

Located in our EMEA headquarters in Geneva (Switzerland), the IDR Planning & Operations team enables distribution of our Columbia, Sorel, PrAna and Mountain Hardwear brands for our International Distributors across the globe.

Our small team of experts are is split into 4 functions: Account Operations, Operational Excellence, Market Planning and Logistics.

The team’s goal is to provide our 30+ partners across APAC, EMEA and LATAM with the best possible service and operational efficiency for our entire Outdoor Apparel and Footwear portfolio .

Meeting this objective requires our teams to own end-to-end supply chain operations; collaborating with our Regional and Global Merchandising teams to plan long-range Demand and assortment to drive optimal fulfilment, handle Customer orders, and liaise with our logistics partners around the world to ensure the right first time, on-time performance. Finally, we constantly measure and continually improve our performance over time to meet our business goals and deliver growth to the Region.

ABOUT THE POSITION

To complete our expertise in planning and analysis, we are looking for a Market Planner to lead supply chain planning performance and own the internal commercial relationship, for our full Columbia footwear portfolio.

The role additionally takes responsibility for leading S&OP for the region, across all brands. In this newly created role you will lead the S&OP conversation multifunctionally; driving enhanced reporting, cross-functional connectivity and decision-making to support growth and cost optimization.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE DIFFERENCE

  • Driving Demand Planning Excellence: Take charge of our Demand Planning Forecast, fostering collaboration with our commercial teams to ensure the highest quality forecast. Your insights will fuel our supply chain and S&OP process, empowering informed decision-making alongside our finance and corporate partners.
  • Optimizing Product Assortment: Collaborate closely with our IDR Merchandising Teams to refine our product assortment. Your efforts will directly impact productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction, ensuring we deliver the right products to meet our customers' needs.
  • Championing Service Optimization: Lead the charge in enhancing service and fulfilment operations through continuous improvement initiatives. Join forces with a dynamic global team to elevate our service levels and ensure an exceptional customer experience.
  • Mastering Project Management: Take ownership of delivering key Columbia Footwear projects, seamlessly integrating them into our broader IDR RoadMap. Your strategic oversight and meticulous execution will drive success across our footwear portfolio.
  • Facilitating Operational Excellence: Serve as a vital interface between our global and regional supply teams, regional account operations, and operational excellence teams. Your expertise will streamline operations and foster collaboration across functions to drive efficiency and effectiveness

YOU ARE

  • A Dynamic, proactive Supply Chain Planning Specialist
  • A Natural Team Player
  • Action oriented – able to bring S&OP theory to life, via tangible solutions
  • Performance Focused and able to bring a structured, agile approach to performance management
  • A strong communicator able to take complex topics and simplify into short, insightful,  audience-ready actions
  • Commercially savvy/business-oriented with a growth mindset and a can-do attitude
  • Fluent in English, Available to work full-time and to travel regularly

YOU HAVE

  • A minimum of 5 years of E2E Supply Chain Experience
  • A solid understanding of the Distributor Go-to-Market Model
  • Strong Demand and Supply Planning Capabilities plus experience in leading S&OP to drive growth
  • Experience working within the apparel industry and/or depth of knowledge in the make-to-order business model
  • Significant experience using Microsoft Excel and demand planning solutions, ideally blue yonder and SAP
  • Strong Collaboration, Communication & Project/Change Management skills and a value creation mindset
