Babolat is a proud family-owned company whose history with racquet sports began in 1875, accompanying the birth of tennis and badminton. The Lyon-based brand built its expertise on a raw material, natural gut, from which the first racquet strings were made and proceeded to become a leading equipment supplier for racquet sports lovers.

Today, tradition and innovation are combined to serve players and the game. The brand is carried to the highest level by champions in the most prestigious tennis, padel and badminton competitions.

The main mission of the Marketing and Promotion Assistant (Internship) is to support the execution and optimization of the brand’s marketing and communication strategies, with a special focus on grassroots and trade activations. The role includes assisting in brand events and promotional initiatives to increase visibility and engagement in both the padel and tennis markets. The intern will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth coordination and impactful results.

Activités

Key Responsibilities:

1. Brand Activations:

  • Support, coordinate, and follow up on the calendar of padel and tennis activations and events, including those with key partners such as Rafa Nadal Academy, Playtomic, and Club Med.
  • In coordination with the Sales and Promotion team, help implement activation plans for Babolat Partner Clubs and Key Retailers.
  • Collaborate with the Promo and Coach team to organize and track demo days.
  • Use Salesforce Marketing Cloud to develop and implement lead generation initiatives linked to grassroots and digital activations.
2. Reporting:
  • Assist in tracking, updating, and reporting on brand activations such as demo days, retailer visits, and club engagements.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of regular reports for the marketing department (e.g., PR, Social Media, Monthly Activations).
3. Communication:
  • Manage and follow up on the distribution of communication and social media assets to the network of retailers, clubs, and coach partners.
  • Collaborate on the influencer strategy with the Brand Activation Manager and promoters, including content monitoring, material distribution, identifying new influencer opportunities, and co-developing activation ideas.

Profil

You are preparing a Bac+4/5 in sales and marketing. A first internship experience and a strong interest in racquet sports are a plus.
You are fluent in written and spoken French, English and Spanish, and have a good command of pack-office software, particularly Excel.
In addition, your ability to work as part of a team will be an asset in this position.

This internship is located in Barcelona and will start in July 2025 for a period of 6 months.
