As the Head Commercial Programs & Project Mgmt you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our products reach the right consumers at the right time. This is a critical leadership position responsible for spearheading strategic initiatives from conception to successful implementation, focused on building scalable commercial capabilities in close collaboration with functional and channel-specific stakeholders across our markets and regions.

In this pivotal role, you’ll be in the driver’s seat of our commercial projects, overseeing project managers who will lead or contribute to strategic company-wide initiatives. You’ll also directly manage key programs, including those focused on omnichannel operations, sample management, and market expansion. Your mission

– Oversee and own the Global Commercial project portfolio, including managing dedicated project managers for strategic initiatives and ensuring alignment with Operations, Technology, and Finance PMOs to facilitate effective prioritization and resource allocation for commercial initiatives
– Directly lead critical commercial programs, with a specific focus on areas like samples, market expansion, and omnichannel development, to ensure cross-channel execution aligns perfectly with Go-to-Market milestones and overarching commercial priorities
– Ensure all programs & projects are proactively and accurately scoped, aligning them directly with the business and commercial strategic priorities through close collaboration with global functional leaders and regional teams
– Lead change management efforts related to new commercial capabilities, ensuring smooth adoption and integration within the markets and regions to maximize the impact and sustainability of strategic initiatives
– Serve as the central point of contact for all commercial stakeholders, as well as other internal PMOs (e.g. Finance, Operations, R&D), fostering seamless communication and collaboration across the organization to ensure integrated project delivery
– Provide strategic project guidance to other commercial teams and the Commercial Strategy Leadership team, offering temporary PM capabilities and capacity as needed and prioritized, to ensure the successful execution of critical initiatives
– Provide frequent, insightful reporting to Commercial leadership groups, driving informed decision-making, optimizing resource allocation, and maintaining transparency across all strategic initiatives
– Establish and champion best practices for project management, ensuring a strategic balance between effective implementation and the sustainable build-out of capabilities that deliver mid- to long-term business benefits
– Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with cross-functional and regional stakeholders, acting as the central point of contact to facilitate communication, align objectives, and resolve interdependencies for successful program delivery

Your story

– Total Experience: You have 8-10 years of progressive experience in project, program, and portfolio management; with 4-5 years in a dedicated leadership role within a Project Management Office (PMO) or similar strategic initiatives function. Expertise in market expansion, sales optimization is a strong plus
– Previous roles: We are open to candidates with a background as a Senior Project Manager/ Senior Program Manager, Business Transformation, Consulting (Strategy/Operations/PMO) or Head of a similar departmental position (e.g. Commercial Excellence)
– Strategic Thinker & Implementer: You are capable of translating strategic vision into actionable plans and ensuring successful execution. You have a strong track record of leading strategic initiatives with measurable business impact
– Collaborative & Influential: You have the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cross-functional alignment, utilising strong inter-personal skills
– Hands-on Program Manager: You have a willingness to directly manage key programs while overseeing a broader portfolio, and are experienced in working in complex organizations with a global footprint
