Join our Team at Salomon as a Business Controller for Winter Sports!

At Salomon, we continuously push the boundaries of innovation in the field of winter sports. We are looking for an analytical and strategic mind to join our team as a Business Controller, a key role in achieving our ambitious financial goals.

  • Key Responsibilities:

Definition of Financial Objectives: You will be responsible for defining financial objectives throughout the offer creation process, aligned with our strategic plan, for our Alpin, Nordic, Snowboard, and Protective business units.

Strategic Partnership: Act as a strategic partner by closely collaborating with our Winter Sports and Management Control teams to provide relevant analyses necessary for informed decision-making.

Forecasting and Reporting: Take charge of planning operational expenses for the category at the headquarters level, ensuring rigorous expense tracking and providing monthly comparative analyses.

  • Within the Business Units (Alpin, Nordic, Snowboard & Protective):

Offer Creation Process: Lead the cascade of strategic objectives into offer creation objectives, ensuring profitability targets are met and identifying gaps for transparent communication with management and operational directions.

Projects/Programs: Oversee all projects comprehensively, providing accurate financial tracking and ensuring validation and tracking of expenses throughout the project lifecycle. Additionally, you will contribute to the financial documentation of the Research Tax Credit to support our research and development initiatives.

 

Qualifications

  • Experience Required: Minimum 5 years of professional experience in corporate finance roles
  • Education: Master’s Degree (Bac +5) with a specialization in corporate finance
  • Computer Skills:
    • Excellent mastery of Office 365, especially Excel,
    • Knowledge of information systems: SAP, BI, Qlikview
  • Languages: Fluent French required
  • Specific Skills:
