What you will be doing:

The Senior Accountant, Consolidations and Reporting plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity and transparency of the Company’s financial statements and results of operations. This role is pivotal in our monthly global consolidation process while helping to drive process & system improvements. This includes the preparation and distribution of the global close calendar, coordinating with the various brands and GBS through the close process, uploading of trial balances, and processing necessary topside journal. 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Assist with the consolidation of each Brand’s monthly financial results in Oracle FCCS and eventually OneStream, ensuring proper translation from local currency into the designated reporting currency and intercompany reconciliation.
  • Serving as a key contact point related to the monthly consolidation process ensuring strong communication and timely resolution of issues with our global colleagues Liaise with external auditors as part of the quarterly close process.
  • Partner with Brand Controllers and GBS to lead quarterly and monthly balance sheet reviews for the business. Proactively monitor balance sheet accounts during the close and assist in preparation / review and ownership of multiple balance sheet FSLI’s plus total Balance-sheet analytics at end of reporting period.
  • Monitor all consolidation-related activities such as changes to the global chart of accounts, entity reporting hierarchies, consolidation mappings, intercompany eliminations, and other processes/controls.
  • Actively support finance transformation initiatives and expanded use of new technology. Examples include OneStream, SAP S/4 HANA, Blackline, and/or other projects and initiatives.
  • Ensure consolidation related controls at the Corporate and entity levels are being performed timely and continue to be effective.
  • Working with cross-functional teams including the brands, Global Business Services, Treasury, Tax, Financial Reporting and Planning to drive process standardization, improvements and efficiencies
  • Performing other ad-hoc analyses and special projects as required

What you need to succeed:

  • A bachelors degree in accounting, finance or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • We are seeking a candidate with 3-5 years of experience
  • A strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX requirements (IFRS a plus).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally and sense of urgency
  • Maintain effectiveness in continually evolving environment
  • Experience with OneStream is a plus

This role is ideally based in the New York City, though remote based candidates are encouraged to apply as we are prioritizing candidate fit over physical location. 

  • In New York, this role will work a flexible hybrid model based in our New York Office, located in the Flatiron District.

A reasonable estimate of the pay range is $95,000 – $115,000 per year at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education, and/or training.  Please note that the range reflects the base pay only and does not include our competitive bonus program
