GENERAL SUMMARY
As a senior leader on the Supply Chain global leadership team, this role will ensure consistent delivery of the customer promise and enable commercial teams to focus on consumer- and account-facing activities for the EMEA region. Ensure the Supply Chain continues to support the evolution of the marketplace and rapidly responds to the changing consumer journey to deliver the multi-year brand volume projections. Ensure regional SC Operations needs are met, represented and executed against through the Global SC matrix / network.
This role will serve as the trusted strategic Supply Chain partner of the EMEA Regional President and active member of the EMEA Senior Leadership team (SLT) in the EMEA region, lead the SC function consisting of distribution operations, outbound fulfilment and customer services, including elevating the strategic partnership from an operations point of view with our customers. Create new and evolve existing SC operational strategies to support and enable profitable business growth while developing and managing the SC Operations team to secure day to day operational needs while delivering key SC KPI’s.
Support the development and leverage of best practice across brands and functional areas within the region, driving process innovation with a continuous improvement mindset, centred on enhancing the consumer proposition while optimising the supply chain cost to serve.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Lead the SC Operations function for the 11 brands operated in Europe across 15+ direct markets and all forms of distribution channels (wholesale & direct to consumer)
- Establish consumer centric and brand enabling SC operational strategies which take account of the evolving marketplace dynamics, the increased need for elevated degree of speed and agility in business practices & processes.
- This position is co-responsible for managing and achieving monthly/quarterly shipping targets and for securing the on-time delivery vs DTC demand or consumers / customers’ requests.
- Oversight of all Supply Chain Operations consisting of Customer Service; Distribution Centers; support operations; and Outbound Logistics.
- Represent Supply Chain in the EMEA SLT interacting with Global SC Partners, Regional Brand Planning and Sourcing organization. Enhance supply chain analytics to support strategic decisions and engaging constructive conversations.
- Ensure distribution and fulfilment platforms are in place to support the growth trajectory of the business (both short and long term), while evolving capabilities which address new consumer and market requirements in a cost-conscious manner.
- Coordinate Distribution Centre daily activities with team dedicated to continuing driving innovation and optimization.
- Lead the development of the regional SC operations team, supporting the growth of the global SC talent pool by proactively managing talent moves within and across regions / functions to secure a robust talent pipeline.
- Through the regional customer service platforms (for both Wholesale and eComm), deliver elevated customer service to our commercial partners & consumers.
- Assess resource levels and system capabilities on an ongoing basis to ensure that the needs of the business can be met while ensuring that the ‘cost to serve’ remains within budgets and in line with business expectations.
- Manage the Supply Chain operations team across four office locations; Switzerland, Belgium, UK, and four DC locations (UK, Belgium, NL & CZ)
- Serve as a key strategic partner to regional and brand leadership, as well as regional commercial organization.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Degree in BA, BS, Engineering or Finance
- Experience: 10+ years in footwear / apparel or other related Supply Chain operations. Proven experience in developing and executing Supply Chain strategies.
- Leadership: As a leader of over 3000 associates in the EMEA region, must have demonstrable skills in creating, leading and evolving high performance teams. Ability to drive alignment and influence at all levels in the organization to achieve a common goal.
- Language skills: Professional written, verbal communication and well-developed interpersonal skills that drive the ability to work w/diverse personalities in a tactful manner
