Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:
As a Trade Marketing Specialist – Key Accounts, EMEA you will be responsible for the development and implementation of marketing tactics with a focus on digital and community activations, to deliver the best-in-class consumer experience for our guests.
You will support the Retail & Trade Marketing Team with key account focused trade marketing projects to deliver an integrated, consumer centric marketing campaigns execution across EMEA. You will report on ROI of the implemented tactics with the appropriate KPIs and help to drive strategic choices around content, direction and process.
This position is a fixed-term contract for 1 year (from Oct. 1st 2025 to Nov. 13th 2026). The role is based out of our Garching office, near Munich and is open to hybrid remote work (2 days at the office – 2 days at home – 1 day home/office). Candidates must be eligible to work in Germany.
Meet Your Future Team:
The Retail & Trade Marketing Team is responsible for developing and implementing trade marketing plans for our wholesale partners in EMEA, focusing on digital marketing activations and community engagement. The team works closely with the Community, Communications, Sports Marketing and Commercial Teams in EMEA, with Brand Stores Teams in European Epicenters, as well as with the Brand, Retail and Trade Marketing and Community teams at the HQ in Vancouver, Canada.
If you were the Trade Marketing Specialist – Key Accounts, EMEA now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
- Leading all conversations with Key Accounts and New Distribution accounts and, implementing brand and seasonal marketing campaigns in full alignment with sales terms, joined marketing plans and KPIs, while delivering on time, on brand and on budget
- Delivering seasonal marketing assets as planned and in a timely manner, including social and digital assets, copies, imagery, and videos
- Liaising with key accounts’ marketing teams to monitor proper usage of the brand’s assets and foster highest return-on-investment and service level for the planned activations, funnelling market feedback regarding assets usage and best practices
- Documenting seasonal campaign implementations and community initiatives performance and KPI achievement through ad-hoc dashboards and reports
- Developing report process and analysing results for data driven marketing planning the following season
- Leveraging Trade Marketing activations to grow Arc’teryx regional social media channels and CRM databases
- Developing and executing outdoor and circularity community events at key accounts, epicenters and places of practice, both in digital and physical spaces, including their promotion and reporting
- Leading Academy retail raffles (Alpine, Climb, Freeride) to foster community engagement in partnership with Brand Experience and Social Media teams
- Identifying marketing opportunities through regular communications with key accounts and the commercial team
- Owning and managing %based marketing contribution budget and assigned lines in trade marketing budget

Are you our next Trade Marketing Specialist – Key Accounts, EMEA?
- You have 3-5 years experience in trade and/or retail marketing, preferably in the outdoor industry and/or at a lifestyle brand
- You have a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
- You are confident in developing trade marketing plans and implementing brand assets and campaigns, especially in the digital space, and in analyzing and reporting their performance
- You have experience in organizing events and community programs
- You have a strong direct-to-consumer marketing knowledge and a deep understanding of the consumer journey, to drive sell-through and customer satisfaction
- You are self-motivated, interested in learning new skills and willing to research and gain industry knowledge that will support the success of the Trade Marketing Team
- You have impressive organizational skills and a strong attention to detail
- You are able to manage and prioritize multiple projects with tight deadlines
- You have strong project management and budget management skill
- You are a strong communicator who can work with cross functional teams from other channels of the business
- You have exceptional presentation and written communication skills in English, and you are proficient in another European language (German is a plus)
- You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
- You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
- You are able to balance autonomy and collaboration
- You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
- You seek the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
