Job Description

As a Store Manager, you will not only be responsible for providing excellent customer service and selling Salomon products, but you will also support the Store Manager in the daily operations of the store.

We offer you the opportunity to focus on different areas in our store – Visual Merchandising, Marketing & Community Leadership or Operations.

This means that you will be responsible for the design of the store, in the planning of various events in the store or also for the social media campaigns of the flagship store.

Additionally, the Store Manager’s responsibilities include organizing the stock room as well as organizing the stock.

We are looking for our new Store Manager based in Amsterdam.

Your daily tasks:

  • Implementation of measures to achieve the goals
  • Training, mentoring and motivation of the store team
  • Active customer advice and sales of Salomon sporting goods
  • Implementation of the brand’s visions and processes, as well as suggestions for optimisation possibilities
  • Handling the merchandise management and cash register system
  • Supporting the efficient and effective implementation of all processes in the store (goods receiving/checking, storage, etc.)

Your Profile

  • You have at least 1.5 years of relevant experience in a leading retail position
  • You want to combine your passion for the sports industry with your professional role
  • You love interacting with customers and creating exceptional experiences
  • You can demonstrate experience in building strong customer relationships
  • An excellent understanding of retail on your part is an advantage
  • You are willing to work a shift schedule that includes evenings or weekends
  • You are motivated and eager to learn
  • You know how to use MS Office and the most important key figures
  • If you are also familiar with our Salomon products, that would be fantastic!
