As a Specialist Cross-Boarder compliance, your primary focus is supporting our internal teams by:
– Coordinating & taking ownership for outbound commercial invoice activities: Ensuring support delivered by our BPO partner in this field meets requirements in quality & efficiency
– Enhancing outbound shipment documentation creation: Developing solutions that improve efficiency & accuracy for outbound Commercial Invoice creation
– Upholding coordination and collaboration as the centre of your activities: Leading initiatives, building relationships, advising and/or coordinating knowledge exchange for multiple stakeholders.

Your mission
– Main Focus: Document creation coordination for EMEA Outbound Cross Border shipments
– Daily activity: You will ensure the support given by our BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) partner in document creation (Commercial Invoices) is executed accurately and in a timely manner. You will guide our BPO partner in prioritizing and sourcing missing information. You will conduct quality control activities regularly and share findings with On’s BPO manager. You will escalate and push for resolution in case of any system error impacting the creation of outbound commercial invoices through our tool (D365)
– Streamline Processes: You will streamline processes mainly, but not limited to, outbound cross border shipments for On’s wholesale partners. You will collaborate with our Logistics teams, Warehouse Coordinators, Sales, Customs, Partnerships Management and if needed compliance/legal support. You will work toward reducing manual input and own process enhancement initiatives fully aware that successful outcomes rely on stakeholders’ involvement and buy-in.
– Collaboration Facilitation: You will foster effective communication, and collaboration for logistics and their stakeholders in this field to address customs needs and drive business objectives. Your aim will be to manage robust foundations that will decrease the need for your input on daily activities and improve accuracy in our activities. Bringing data accuracy to our internal teams whilst enhancing tools/experience for cross border shipments is one of your key goals.
– Data Analysis: You will work with, for example but not limited to, our order management teams to identify efficiency opportunities in their internal collaboration. This will be of particular importance in ensuring all conducted cross border shipments are necessary.
– Global initiatives: You will represent and coordinate efforts as needed in the implementation of global system initiatives that impact cross border shipments, such as On’s Right to Run Social impact program.
– Communication: You will own and communicate on initiatives transparently and assertively, seeking cohesion at all times yet being in the driving seat. You will adapt to your audience and drive conversations towards constructive outcomes.
– Training: You will ensure the adequate documentation is maintained accurately and in a timely manner as tools & processes develop.
– Stakeholder Management: You will use objectivity and accessibility to manage expectations from all involved whether driving an initiative or representing the interests of logistics functionally. You will build and maintain cross-functional relationships based on trust, respect and demonstrated value add.
Your story
– You have a minimum 3 years of work experience in a logistics orientated role, cross border shipment collaboration experience is a plus. You have a passion for seamless collaboration, emphasizing delivering a high-class experience.
– Your English skills are fluent. You understand and master the nuances of the choice of words required to build & maintain work relationships as well as seek consensus among stakeholders.
– You have a strategic mindset with a focus on process optimization and continuous improvement.
– You have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and build relationships across teams and departments.
– You have previously used collaboration methodology and best practices in the workplace.
– You thrive in an autonomous working environment where you drive daily service excellence, fully embracing your role as an owner who depends on stakeholders’ input & actions.
