We’re looking for a highly experienced storyteller to craft copy across our global campaigns. As Senior Copy Lead, you’ll work closely with Creative Directors and Art Directors to deliver impactful concepts and stories across channels. You’ll also lead direct reports, guiding and coaching to craft compelling work. The ideal candidate is an expert conceptual storyteller with a deep understanding of channel best practices and leadership experience.

Your mission

– Partner with creative directors and art directors to concept and execute innovative campaigns across all channels, including OOH, digital DTC, CRM, paid media, and retail.
– Deliver TOV frameworks, messaging hierarchies, scripts, and OOH.
– As a brand champion, uphold and evolve On’s distinctive voice, ensuring it remains fearless and unconventional.
– Deliver a consistently high standard of copy across all channels, ensuring messaging is impactful and results-oriented.
– Lead your campaigns and team to success, fostering a sense of bravery and dedication within your team, ensuring they are motivated, inspired, and consistently delivering bold, original and inventive concepts and distinctive tones of voice for campaigns and projects.
– Manage multiple campaigns simultaneously, providing valuable feedback, and coaching your team to make sound creative decisions independently.
– Exemplify strong leadership for the copy team, championing the On Spirits, and actively contributing to company culture and events.

Your story

– A dynamic, experienced copywriter with 6+ years of experience as a copywriter on global advertising and/or marketing campaigns. Ideally, in the fashion or sportswear industry, brand side, or at an agency.
– As an agile, confident storyteller, you know how to craft TOV strategies and compelling messages – whether that’s a film script, tagline, OOH, or launch email. You’re quick, precise, and always find the right way to tell the story – no matter the platform.
– You deeply understand digital user journeys, especially for global brands, and know how to optimize collection pages, landing pages, and other touchpoints to drive meaningful action. Your experience using digital metrics to inform your copy decisions ensures that your words don’t just engage – they perform.
– Whether working independently or collaborating with multiple stakeholders, you confidently challenge the status quo, push creative boundaries, and champion innovative ideas that drive commercial results.
– You’re comfortable leading complex projects and initiatives that significantly impact the business.
– You know how to lead and inspire your reports, identify underlying issues and root causes, and seek solutions to problems.
– You have a deep knowledge of, and experience in, culture, fashion, and performance apparel.
