VF International, the EMEA HQ of VF Corporation, is looking for an exceptional Legal Specialist – DTC & Privacy EMEA to join our Law Team – Direct-To-Consumer & Privacy business area, based in Stabio, Switzerland.

The Legal Specialist – DTC & Privacy EMEA supports the Direct-To-Consumer / Privacy / Legal Ops Business Area within the EMEA Law Team, and the rest of the Law Team, with all DTC & technology compliance related activities, cross-brand, with specific focus on e-commerce, retail, loyalty programs, technology contracts, AI governance and privacy (GDPR et al.) compliance, delivering both substantial legal advice and related project management, under the supervision of more senior team members.
We expect that you will deliver unbeatable results whilst fulfilling the following aspects of the role:
- Monitor relevant legal developments on e-commerce, retail, loyalty program, AI and privacy in EMEA.
- Support the team in the execution of legal support activities related to VF’s e-commerce, loyalty, and retail businesses in EMEA, cross-brand, including through multi-jurisdiction advisory, compliance, contracts, and Ts&Cs work, including by attending meetings, reviewing and drafting contracts and business-oriented memoranda.
- Support the team in enacting and maintaining VF’s DTC & technology compliance and accountability tools and procedures (Data Protection & AI Impact Assessments, DTIAs, Data Subjects Requests management, IT contracts, Registers of Processing Activities, AI register, Cyber Incident register, various DTC Guidelines, Sales & Promotions Legal Sharepoint, and other).
- Collaborate with IT Procurement to streamline the negotiation and execution of IT contracts supporting all VF EMEA technology procurement and third-party vendor assessment needs.
- Support the business with the adoption of Artificial Intelligence capabilities in compliance with legal requirements and with minimized legal risk.
- Audit selling, advertising and technology and practices across VF’s organization, planning remediations.
- Project management supporting the above activities
Skills for Success
- Master's degree in Law.
- Solid knowledge of European data protection, consumer protection, AI and e-commerce legal framework.
- At least 2-3 year experience in law firm and/or in-house with DTC and/or technology compliance-related assignments, preferably in an international environment.
- Proven self-organization and project management skills.
- Proficient in English. German, French, Italian are an asset.
- Enjoys analysing complex issues, doing research and writing.
- Enjoys teamworking and socializing in a diverse, inclusive and multi-cultural environment.
- Proactive, meticulous, reliable.
