Let’s talk about the role!
As a Legal Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Senior Counsel and the Business Area Corporate EMEA team. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of corporate legal matters, with a particular emphasis on Property & Real Estate Law, Supply Chain Agreements, and Sales Agency Agreements.
This role involves both project management and providing substantial legal advice, all under the guidance of the Business Area Leader.
In particular, the Legal Specialist will support the Business area Corporate EMEA leader and the rest of the Law Team with the following activities…

Legal Support in Property and Real Estate: Actively contribute to EMEA property and real estate projects, including drafting, revising lease agreements, and handling negotiations for lease renewals or terminations.

Sales Agency Agreements: Assist in drafting and revising sales agency agreements to support VF's business operations in EMEA.

Legal Monitoring: Keep abreast of relevant legal developments in contracts and civil procedure within the EMEA region.

Supply Chain Support: Provide legal assistance to VF’s EMEA business teams, particularly in sourcing and supply chain management.

Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders, including the property and real estate team, as well as VF brand representatives.

Organizational Audits: Conduct audits and plan remedial actions across VF’s organizational practices.

Training and Communication: Contribute to educational, communication, and training initiatives within the Corporate Business area.
Skills for Success:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

Educational Background: master’s degree in law.

Legal Expertise: Solid understanding of contract law in at least one European or Swiss jurisdiction.

Professional Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a law firm and/or in-house role, focusing on contract law or corporate assignments. Experience in an international setting is preferred.

Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is essential. Good knowledge of Italian, German, or French is advantageous.

Project Management: Strong self-organization and project management capabilities.

Analytical Skills: Adept at analysing complex issues, conducting research, and presenting findings.

Teamwork and Diversity: Enthusiastic about working and socializing in a diverse, inclusive, and multicultural environment.

Personal Attributes: Proactive, meticulous, and reliable with a good sense of humour and a keen desire to learn and grow professionally.
