JOB MISSION: 

We are seeking a Junior Merchandise Planner to support in the planning, trading, analysis, and purchasing of the seasonal ranges from initial planning to sell-through for Inline and Outlet channels. This role involves analyzing sales trends, stock levels, and forecasting demand to optimize inventory and increase profitability.

ΜAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES: 

Data Analysis & Reporting: 

  • Assist in monitoring sales trends and performance. 

  • Identify slow-moving or excess inventory and support clearance planning. 

  • Responsible for Monday trading pack, and seasonal hindsight analysis to identify current and future trading opportunities. 

  • Assist in preparing regular reports for senior planners and management on sales performance, stock levels and inventory important metrics. 

Administrative Support: 

  • Support the preparation of presentations, reports, and documentation for meetings. 

  • Handle administrative tasks related to purchase orders, deliveries, and returns. 

Category/GBU Management and Inventory Planning: 

  • Assist in the development of seasonal plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives. 

  • Support the planning team with the monthly re-forecasts on sales, inventory and intake (WSSI). 

  • Contribute to the creation of ladder plans for non-seasonal products including risk assessment.  

  • Identify slow-moving products and collaborate with the buying team to adjust inventory levels, working to minimize stockouts or overstock situations. 

Cross- Functional Collaboration: 

  • Build a positive relationship with the different stakeholders (Buying and Allocation Team). 

 

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS: 

  • Previous experience in a planning/merchandising/analytic role (2 years). 

  • Retail math and analytical skills with a strong link to translate to product. 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

  • Great interpersonal skills at all levels. 

  • Experience with BI an advantage. 

  • Ability to cope with multiple active projects. 

  • Enjoys working collaboratively, as part of a team and building strong working relationships.
