Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern to support our Product Line & Merchandising Manager in managing the product lifecycle, optimizing assortments, and ensuring high standards in retail performance and sample coordination. Your footwear category will be the SMU footwear products (Special Make-Up units for key accounts retailers, marketing campains, etc.).This internship offers a dynamic learning environment with direct exposure to international product and merchandising strategies within the sport industry.
Your main missions will be:

Support the development and optimization of product line strategies, from launch to end-of-life;

Assist in building and managing seasonal assortments tailored to various markets and customer profiles;

Contribute to the analysis of product performance, stock levels, and market trends;

Help prepare detailed reports, business reviews, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders;

Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, and Product Development;

Assist in the preparation and management of meetings, product information, visual tools, and sample tracking;

Monitor competitor activity and trends to inform product and merchandising decisions;

Gather and synthesize customer and market feedback to support continuous product and service improvement;

Manage product samples, including:
- Ensuring sample integrity and accurate labeling
- Validating product imagery for visual tools and platforms
- Organizing dispatches to internal teams and external partners
- Maintain sample tracking records and ensure timely returns and updates
- Provide administrative and operational support across ongoing projects
Qualifications

Cursus: Enrolled in a degree program in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, Product Management, or related fields

IT: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with databases or PIM (Product Information Management) systems is a plus. Working with Power BI is a plus

Language: Fluent in English; French language is an asset

Highly organized, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple deadlines
- Interest in sport retail, product lifecycle management, and visual merchandising
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Additional Information
Contract: Internship. A convention agreement is mandatory.
Location: Annecy (74), FRANCE
