Timberland is looking for an exceptional User Experience Specialist to join our eCommerce team based in Stabio, Switzerland.

Let’s talk about the role!

This role will be instrumental in executing, monitoring and optimizing the end-to-end customer journey across our digital platforms. The ideal candidate will ensure the timely and high-quality publishing of content across our EMEA websites, analyze their performance through the lens of user journey, and drive the execution of A/B tests.

This position requires the understanding of UX principles, content lifecycle management, and digital analytics. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including trading, marketing, merchandising, and CRM to deliver seamless and engaging digital experiences that drive conversion and customer satisfaction.

How You Will Make a Difference

You will achieve this by:

  • Customer Journey Monitoring

    • Track and analyze user behavior across digital touchpoints to identify friction points and opportunities for improvement.

    • Maintain and evolve customer journey maps in collaboration with analytics and design teams.

    • Support the development of dashboards and reports to monitor key UX metrics.

  • A/B Testing & Optimization

    • Design, implement, and manage content A/B testing programs to validate hypotheses and improve KPIs (e.g. clickthrough, time on site, conversion rate, bouce reductions).

    • Collaborate with analytics and development teams to define test parameters, success metrics, and implementation plans.

    • Analyze test results and translate insights into actionable recommendations.

  • Content Publishing & QA

    • Participate in go-to-market planning and execution, ensuring UX considerations are embedded in all phases.

    • Coordinate the publishing of digital content across multiple locales and devices, ensuring consistency and quality.

    • Work with the content delivery agency to ensure assets are optimized and aligned with UX best practices.

    • Conduct QA and usability testing to validate content performance and user experience across platforms.

    • Support the creation and maintenance of UX documentation, guidelines, and best practices.

Skills For Success

  • A few years of experience
  • Experience with content lifecycle management in a digital environment
  • Experience with web analytics, UX analytics and/or consumer analytics
  • Experience in managing 3rd party agencies
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.

Preferred

  • Masters level education (College level education)
  • Experience and understanding of e-commerce systems and processes
  • Familiarity with analytics and testing platforms (e.g., Quantum Metric, Google Analytics, Optimizely).
  • Experience with CMS and asset management platforms (e.g. CoreMedia, Cloudinary)
