Your mission
– Work with data analysts to build automated reporting solutions in Looker, ensuring data is easily accessible and accurate for decision-making.
– Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and integration into Looker for data visualisation and for feeding business reports (commercial, supply chain, sales, R&D, finance) using tools like dbt and BigQuery.
– Contribute to the continuous improvement of Data Engineering processes and tools.
– Collaborate with business teams to understand data needs and provide data-driven insights and solutions.
– Contribute to improving data quality.
Your story
– Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for working with data.
– Familiarity with programming languages such as SQL or Python (or a strong willingness to learn).
– A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work closely with both technical teams (data engineers) and business teams (data analysts, business stakeholders).
– Strong communication skills, with an interest in translating technical concepts into business-friendly terms.
– Experience or interest in Business Intelligence tools.
Meet the team
The data enablement team is responsible for building, maintaining and growing internal data platforms, data products and processes that empower everyone at On to impact business outcomes by making informed decisions.
You will be joining a team of data engineers who take care of the company’s data needs across most of the organization. We are working in smaller workstreams of data engineers, data analysts and stakeholders to deliver valuable data products for the company.
