Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:
As an Allocations Analyst you will be responsible for the execution of in-season allocation and replenishment strategies including sales and inventory analysis for Brand Stores and/or Factory Outlets. You will oversee their inventory levels to ensure that stores have the right amount of relevant product available to customers at the appropriate time.
This role can be based out of our Garching office, near Munich or London and is open to hybrid remote work (3 days in the office, 2 days at home). Candidates must be eligible to work in Germany or in UK.
Meet Your Future Team:
The Service and Allocations team in EMEA is a cross functional group whose focus is to continuously drive sales and margin, while mitigating inventory risks by finding the balance between the right product at the right quantity in the right place at the right time.

If you were the Allocations Analyst – EMEA now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

  • Managing the overall replenishment process for a subset of brand stores and/or factory outlets from implementation to exit, including ensuring the right inventory for new stores
  • Analyzing store level inventory and sales to determine trends and maximize sales opportunities on a weekly basis
  • Working closely with the Allocations team in Canada, to ensure best practices are followed, and processes across regions are aligned where possible and collaborating with the EMEA Merchandising team
  • Providing recommendations on store level product based on sales data and store feedback
  • Identifying and highlighting any concerns in inventory levels as soon as it is discovered and investigate into options to solve the problem
  • Working closely with the stores/outlets to provide insights into Retail Allocations functions and processes and ensure they are aware of product flow, replenishment flow and any deviation or changes to the plan
  • Working collaboratively with cross-functional partners such as the Retail Operations, Store Development, Shipping and Logistics, and Retail teams to provide insight into Retail Allocations functions and processes
  • Creating return authorizations in season to maximize sales and at season end to send product back to the distribution centers or to outlet locations
  • Liaising with the warehouse, stores and merchandising teams to help coordinate smooth integration of replenishments and monthly product drops
  • Assisting with preparation of Allocations reporting and re-caps to analyze and communicate business performance
  • Partnering with Retail Operations NSO Manager, Regional VM Lead and HQ Merch Planning team to ensure new store opening timing is aligned and a work back plan is in place for inventory
  • Overseeing the communication and administration of third-party product orders for Arc’teryx Brand Stores
  • Supporting the team with additional tasks as required to help achieve company objectives
  • Travelling as required for store visits

  • Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to provide insight into retail functions and processes
  • Identifying issues and gaps in process and supports the team to help find resolutions
  • Acting as a Retail point of contact in the region, with the ability to react and take action in the local time zone

Are you our next Allocations Analyst – EMEA?

  • You have a minimum of 2+ years’ experience in an allocations coordinator or dealer service representative role, with experience managing large, high-priority accounts
  • You have experience with SAP S4 or ECC and with retail systems (inventory planning, allocations, POS, Cegid)
  • You speak a second European language (is a plus)
  • You thrive in a fast-past, ever changing retail environment
  • You can identify and communicate key business insights to management and team
  • You have strong data analysis skills and a good understanding of Microsoft Excel
  • You have a love of retail and an ability to always stay consumer focused
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
  • You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
  • You seek and execute the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
  • You drive breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement of all merchandising analysis processes
