As a Cybersecurity Operation Specialist, you’ll be a vital part of our Cyber Security & Risk Management Department.

What you will be doing:

In this pivotal role, you’ll be instrumental in fortifying our organization’s security stance through the design, implementation, and maintenance of advanced security measures and controls.

Your expertise will be pivotal in various domains such as network and perimeter security, email and endpoint security, cloud security, threat intelligence analysis, and incident response.

• Ensure optimal configuration, upkeep, and functionality of all security tools, including intrusion detection and prevention systems, email protection, antivirus software, firewalls, and SIEM solutions.
• Execute and manage security solutions and technical policies such as firewalls, email and web security, endpoint security, and cloud security, actively monitoring, tracking, and remediating incidents, and enhancing the setup.
• Maintain security tools and software with the latest patches and updates to mitigate vulnerabilities exploited by attackers.
• Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of security tools, propose adjustments, and suggest enhancements to bolster our overall security posture.
• Monitor security tool outputs and alerts, actively identifying security events, false positives, and suspicious activities.
• Provide active support for technical investigations into security threats or incidents, contributing to the analysis and containment of security incidents.
• Contribute to the enhancement of our security service arsenal by proposing, evaluating, and implementing modern technologies and innovations across our platforms.

What you need to succeed:

• A genuine passion for technical cybersecurity and a fervent drive to learn and catalyze change.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. While advanced certifications like CISSP, CISM, or CEH are not mandatory, they are highly regarded.
• Proven track record in designing, implementing, and managing security solutions and controls in intricate environments.
• Deep comprehension of networking protocols, security technologies, and industry best practices.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
• Collaborative nature suited to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adept at prioritizing and managing multiple tasks and projects. 
• A positive and solution-oriented mindset, paramount in the security context.
