JOB MISSION:

The Visual Merchandising Specialist will be responsible for the execution and training of Visual Standards across EMEA and more specifically, Full Price and Factory Outlet Stores. The Visual Merchandising Specialist acts as a liaison between the Regional EMEA Visual Merchandising Manager and Stores. They will partner with Retail Regional Managers and Regional Visual Merchandisers to carry out initiatives as they relate to visual display. They will also support the Visual Merchandising Manager in the facilitation of Store Visual changeover plans and execution works with Merchandising and Marketing teams to ensure products in stores are received, stocked, and displayed.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Visual

  • Responsible for document building for all seasonal regional guidelines including model store guidelines.
  • Responsible for all floor set initiatives and ensuring that visual deadlines are met, adhering to Global Standards and Regional Monthly Guidelines.
  • Communicates with Corporate Merchandising and Visual teams around key product launch dates, product levels, and sell-through.
  • Responsible for instructing monthly visual updates, including window installs and graphic changes, etc.
  • Responsible for ensuring all promotional materials, marketing signage, product signage, and graphics, etc. are up to date and utilised as directed in each location.
  •  Managing the DTC Showroom.

Leadership

  • Encourage and inspire visual champions during the execution of standards, product changes, etc.
  • Actively coaches and provides constant productive feedback to associates on all levels.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent retail/visual merchandising experience is preferred.
  • Proficient in the creative suite: indesign, photoshop, illustrator.
  • 3D rendering skills are a plus.
  • Experience in store and HO.
  • Self-motivation, creativity, and organization are a must in this role.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain business relationships.
  • Embraces NB Lifestyle and has an affinity with the New Balance Brand.
  • Strong retail business acumen.
  • Ability to take a leadership role in projects is essential.
