Timberland EMEA is looking for an exceptional Senior Manager, Retail Marketing to join our EMEA Marketing team based in Stabio, Switzerland

Let’s Talk about the Role
You as Senior Manager, Retail Marketing will lead the strategic development and execution of retail marketing initiatives that elevate Timberland’s brand presence and drive consumer engagement across EMEA retail channels.
You will be responsible for shaping and executing the retail marketing strategy across full-price stores and outlets. You will ensure that every consumer touchpoint reflects Timberland’s brand values, drives traffic, and enhances conversion. You will collaborate cross-functionally to deliver premium, consistent, and locally relevant retail experiences that support business growth and brand heat.
How You Will Make a Difference
You will achieve this by:
- Driving the execution of the seasonal brand communications calendar and in-store activation strategy across DTC environment in EMEA. You will lead the development and execution of a cohesive retail marketing calendar that aligns with global brand priorities and regional objectives. This includes planning and rolling out seasonal campaigns, product launches, and key brand moments across all EMEA retail formats. You will create an activation plan tailored to local market needs while maintaining brand consistency, driving footfall, and enhancing consumer engagement
- Building compelling consumer journeys through Visual Merchandising, CRM and loyalty program initiatives. You will design and implement integrated consumer journeys that connect physical and digital touchpoints. From impactful window displays and in-store storytelling to personalized CRM campaigns and loyalty program activations, you’ll ensure that every interaction reinforces Timberland’s brand values and deepens consumer connection.
- Creating premium store environments through windows, POS and store design. You will oversee the adaptation of global creative concepts for EMEA retail landscape and lead execution of all in-store visual elements, including seasonal window campaigns, point-of-sale materials, and store designs. Working closely with creative and production teams, you’ll ensure that each store environment reflects Timberland’s premium positioning and product storytelling—creating immersive spaces that inspire and convert.
- Fostering collaborations across marketing, merchandising, store operations and global team.
- Collaborating with creative and production partners to bring brand stories to life in-store. You will manage external agencies and internal creative teams to develop and execute high-quality retail assets. From concept to installation, you’ll ensure that all creative output is on-brand, on-time, and on-budget.
- Leading the execution of internal brand events.
- You will play a central role in organizing and delivering key internal events such as Go-To-Market (GTM) sessions and Brand Meetings, critical for aligning cross-functional teams, sharing strategic direction, and inspiring execution across the region.
- Improving performance through data-driven insights and analysis. You will establish clear KPIs for retail marketing initiatives and lead the analysis of campaign performance. By leveraging consumer insights, traffic data, and sales metrics, you’ll identify opportunities for optimization and innovation.
Skills for Success
You should be a strategic and creative retail marketer with a passion for brand storytelling and consumer experience, with:
- The ability to lead cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment.
- The capability to translate brand strategy into impactful in-store experiences
- An understanding of retail dynamics, consumer behavior, store design and visual merchandising principles.
- Pro-active and get things done mentality and ability to work under pressure
- An expertise in managing creative productions and store design.
- Business acumen – bridge brand and commercial goals.
- A knowledge of CRM dynamics and loyalty program.
- A keen interest in the evolving retail landscape
- Strong communication and presentation skills to influence stakeholder at all levels.
- Fluency in English. Additional European levels are a plus.
A formal education and subsequent University Bachelor or master’s degree in Marketing, Economics, Communication or equivalents are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.
