We’re looking for a visionary and hands-on Senior Lead in Art Direction to oversee the creative output of On’s most essential visual brand touchpoints – from ecommerce and product storytelling to seasonal lookbooks and cross-category campaigns. With a keen eye for both emotional impact and commercial performance, you’ll guide a team of talented art directors to shape how the world sees On at every step.
You understand how performance and lifestyle intertwine, and you know how to bring that connection to life visually across film, photography and emerging formats. You’ll be both a doer and a leader, building visual direction that inspires, aligns and pushes the boundaries of what brand assets can do.
Reporting to the Head of Group Visual Direction, this is a high-impact leadership role at the intersection of creative excellence, business goals and global brand expression.
Your mission
– Lead art direction across On’s core brand assets – product photography, ecommerce content, digital campaigns and seasonal editorial
– Manage a small but growing team of art directors and videographers – providing pathways through creative mentorship and professional guidance.
– Collaborate cross-functionally with partners in digital, product, and marketing to ensure a shared creative vision
– Define the seasonal art direction for brand assets, working across film, photography, and occasional CGI
– Uphold and elevate the visual quality of every asset – from PDPs to lookbooks to seasonal category shoots
– Partner with production leads to ensure timely, high-quality execution of projects
– Set the visual tone of each seasons core brand assets and identify the right creative collaborators to bring them to life
– Champion On’s evolving aesthetic and contribute to a future-facing and experimental creative culture
Your story
– 6+ years experience at a global brand or creative agency, with 2+ years leading a creative team or art direction function
– A strong, diverse portfolio showcasing world-class art direction across sport, lifestyle, fashion and/or culture
– Confident directing shoots and selecting the right talent and locations to express both performance and emotion
– Deep understanding of digital-first brand storytelling – especially in ecommerce environments
– Familiar with motion, film and CGI workflows; comfortable directing across formats
– Proven ability to inspire, grow and manage a creative team, from freelancers to full-time leads
– Experienced in resource planning, project oversight and performance development
– You value feedback as a tool for improvement and create space for growth in your team
– Thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and brings proactive problem-solving energy
– A natural collaborator who can navigate between creative ambition and commercial clarity
– Fluent in English, written and spoken

We work on a wide range of cross-functional projects – from seasonal campaigns and product storytelling to global brand moments and retail.
