Job Description

As we continue to strengthen our Sportstyle department, we are looking for a EMEA Merchandising Senior Manager to lead our category vision and build compelling, consumer-right assortments across B2B. You’ll help define the strategy, lead a regional team, and ensure we deliver the right products, in the right places, at the right time.

Your mission :

  • Lead the development and execution of the regional merchandising strategy across B2B

  • Define the seasonal assortment plan by channel, based on consumer insight, retail analysis and strategic objectives

  • Allocate and reallocate product flows during the season to support commercial targets and optimize inventory

  • Manage product life cycles, ensuring balance between innovation, carryovers and commercial success

  • Partner closely with Merch & Planning team, supply and marketing teams to ensure a smooth and aligned go-to-market process

  • Monitor performance KPIs (sell-in, sell-out, margin, rotation, stock) and recommend action plans

  • Represent the Sportstyle category within the region for BTB, acting as the voice of both brand and market needs

  • Build a category vision that supports both short-term sell-through and long-term brand growth

  • Manage complexity across multiple product lines, distribution channels and regional market specificities

  • Drive excellence and define assortment

  • Identify business risks and opportunities at category and account level and proactively act on them

Your team & scope :

You will manage a team of 2 (with scope to grow), and work within the regional & global Merchandising structure.

 

 

Qualifications

You are a forward-thinking merchandising leader with a deep understanding of footwear, lifestyle and sportswear. You thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and know how to turn strategy into execution.

What you bring:

  • 10+ years of experience in merchandising, retail buying or sales

  • Master’s degree in Buying & Merchandising, Business or related field

  • Strong background in footwear, ideally within top-tier brands 

  • Proven experience managing assortments

  • Fluent English required + French is a plus

  • Strategic mindset with strong analytical skills and business acumen

  • Leadership qualities and cross-functional influence

  • Excellent understanding of the European market and consumer trends
