Your mission and key responsibilities
This is a new position within a rapidly growing company, and the responsibilities will evolve based on the company’s activity and the candidate’s profile.
However, as the international accounting manager, you will report to the CFO and collaborate with the finance & admin team to deliver core missions:
Supervise Group Accounting (10 entities):
* Monthly closings: oversee bank reconciliations, revenue reconciliations, VAT declarations, client outstanding invoices, intercompany account reconciliations.
* Audit and financial statements: coordinate the audit of all group entities, income tax declarations, shareholders’ meeting minutes, and filing of financial statements.
* Consolidation: oversee the annual consolidation process.
* Cashflow: monitor the group’s cashflow and optimize investments.
* Taxes: coordinate with external accounting firms to answer tax authorities requests

Structure and optimize internal procedures:
* Approval rules in accordance with task sharing principles.
* Process for recording of customer/supplier invoices.
* Process for supplier invoice payments.

Supporting the group’s development:
* IT tools: implementing and optimizing the use of accounting software.
* Establishment of new entities: legal structure, bank account setup, accounting system implementation.

 

Work location
Chamonix Mont-Blanc preferred, with a possibility in Annecy

Profile & skills
* You have 5-10 years of experience with minimum 3 years in a similar position or accounting / audit firm
* You have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting (DCG or equivalent)
* You are proficient in French GAAP
* You have experience in international accounting: IFRS, consolidation, taxes etc..
* You have proven adaptability to accounting softwares, and Excel proficiency.
* You can demonstrate organization, autonomy, and curiosity to solve problems.
* You have good communication skill but respect confidentiality
* You thrive in fast-paced environments.
* You are proficient in English; Spanish is a plus.
