Job Description

  • Stakeholder Representation: Act as the face of Salomon Winter Sports, engaging with influencers, partners, events, federations, and national sports authorities to promote brand visibility and partnerships.

  • Partnership Management and Athlete Programs: Negotiate partnerships, manage athlete programs, and coordinate ambassador activities to ensure brand alignment and effective representation within the winter sports community.

  • Public Relations: Serve as the PR face of the brand, liaising with vertical and horizontal media channels to amplify Salomon’s presence and messaging within the industry.

  • Strategic Activation: Develop and implement strategies to enhance Salomon’s presence at key sports epicenters, including sponsoring events, forming partnerships with ski resorts, and organizing consumer-facing activations.

  • Community Engagement and Process Participation: Participate in internal processes, provide feedback to headquarters, and collaborate within the influencer and ambassador community to share best practices and ensure the quality of marketing initiatives.

 

Qualifications

  • 4+ years’ experience in the specific sports community or overall Marketing environment, strong background of the consumer & influencing area.

Network: connected with sport & community, Sport specific Events, Athletes, Clubs, Coaches, Federation, Programs, etc.

  • Degree in Marketing or similar relevant field is beneficial
  • Sport Expert and enthusiast who enjoys being an active part of events (setting up, participation, …)
  • Active WSE (preferably Alpine skiing) participant at an experienced level

Languages: full proficiency in English and Italian

Computer skills: command of Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint

Others:

  • Strong involvement in the sport & its communities, long-time understanding of the core scene
  • Project management: track record in managing network of local counterparts, strong analytics, budget definition, planning, follow-up & win-win negotiations
  • Planning, direction and evaluation of events
  • Understanding of social media and ability to manage some activities
  • Vendor management
  • Respect and align processes and activities with local and legal regulations, able to transfer theoretical frameworks and legal concepts to actual situations

Present to large audiences (i.e. trainings, product, strategy) and is able to adjust presentation to need of audiences

 

Additional Information

Fixed-term contract for 2 years, Full-time

Position based in Treviso, Italy

Possible travel within Europe region, Driving License mandatory.
