Your future mission:

As a key member of our Data Office, your job is to make our data work better for us. You’ll focus on improving how we use data to make decisions and enhanced operational efficiency. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping our data-driven culture, ensuring our data practices not only comply with regulations but also drive our growth and maintain our competitive edge.

 

 

Your Tasks:

  • Develop and implement global master data management strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across the organization.
  • Define and enforce data quality standards, conduct regular audits, and collaborate with relevant teams to address data quality issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify master data requirements and establish data governance frameworks.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize master data processes, workflows, and systems.
  • Monitor data quality metrics and performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Coordinate both data migration & systems integration projects and ensure smooth implementations.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on master data management best practices and tools.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies related to master data management.
  • Utilize data analytics and business intelligence tools to extract valuable insights from large datasets, enabling better decision-making and strategic planning.

 

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business information technology, Business Administration, IT or related fields ​
  • Demonstrated expertise in master data management with experience in systems such as SAP S/4HANA, PLM Centric 8, Power BI, etc
  • Previous master data experience either maintenance or creation ​
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities. ​
  • Independent and precise way of working and initiative. ​
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex IT issues in a way that is appropriate for the target group and to win others over to your plans – fluent in English, Frend and/or German a plus. ​
  • Project management experience preferred.
