Eastpak & JanSport EMEA are looking for an exceptional marketing manager to join our marketing team based in London, UK. This is a 1-year maternity cover temporary contract.

Let’s talk about the role!     

You as Manager, Marketing UK & EIRE Eastpak & JanSport will support the development of a 360° online and retail marketing strategy to successfully deliver the Eastpak & JanSport Marketing plan for the UK & Ireland consistent with the Eastpak & JanSport Global vision and brand positioning.

You will support the brands from GTM’s discussion and KPI’s setting to execution and ROI monitoring. You will support the growth of the two brands` equity within the UK & Ireland markets.

You will report to the Eastpak Senior Channel Marketing Manager.

How you will make a difference

You will achieve this by:

  • Driving sustainable and profitable growth and brand equity among brands’ wholesale partner by developing local omnichannel marketing plans.

  • Guiding and working with local UK PR agencies to define key initiatives, select the right media partners and implement consistent local influencer, KOLS strategies.

  • Improving the visual presence of the Eastpak & JanSport brand in collaboration with in-house VM and retail accounts to ensure our Brands look at their best in our shopping locations.

  • Develop and lead UK based events, activations, pop-up or brand Shop-in-shop opening, trade shows and much more!

  • Participate on International sales/marketing meetings: GTM, Product Previews, Global PR Days, Monthly EMEA Calls etc.

  • MKTG FY budget responsibilities: suppliers’ selection, deals and contracts negotiation, invoices management and production of financial tracking report for HQ P&L.

  • Collate monthly, quarterly, and seasonal reports.

Skills for Success

You should be a go-getter person, a high-energy team player and curious about marketing/branding, combined with:

  • A professional with 3-5 years of experience in Country or Brand marketing roles

  • The ability to work both independently but also with external agency to discover/evaluate business opportunities.

  • The capability to think out of the box and being detail attentive.

  • An understanding of fashion, retail and PR

  • An expertise in building strong relationship both with internal and external stakeholders.

  • A keen interest in the latest digital trends and consumer behaviours in general

A formal education and subsequent University Bachelor or master’s degree in marketing, economics, business, communication are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.
