We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Community Running & Activation Coordinator (m/f/d) to drive this mission forward with us. 

JOB MISSION

In this position you will play a crucial role in developing and executing New Balance’s community running program alongside key retailer and run clubs for the Germany and Benelux region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop the New Balance approach to community running events, ensuring brand consistency and authentic NB experiences at brand and trade level – creating and delivering a tool kit to support from grassroots upwards.

• Build and develop NB’s run club portfolio. Engage and maintain run club relationships through seeding, retailer partnerships, activations, local community initiatives and key regional events.

• Activate the community running strategy to support the sell-thru of product in line with the EMEA Running Playbook and adapt to market requirements.

• To support on the planning and lead delivery of guerilla marketing activations in-line with key cultural moments/strategically important events, across the year as required, developing trade opportunities and partnerships – acting as the central function across our Community Marketing strategy.

• Support the running wholesale Trade Marketing and Tech Rep team to deliver concepts that engage with run specialty retailers & key accounts through product testing, focus product launches and promotional activations.

• To support on the planning and event delivery of the running calendar and oversee potential brand events (product launch events, football events etc.).

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject or equivalent experience

• passion and interest in running and other sports with a deep understanding of the running market and running consumer

• Experience of managing relationships and 3rd party agencies

• Marketing or Trade Marketing activations experience

• Experience in project management including budget-management and reporting

• High level communication skills and people-first mindset

• Ability to follow strategic plans and have long term vision

• Willingness to travel for work and to work weekends/evenings if needed
