With rapid growth in digital, we are looking for an entrepreneurial and experienced Digital Marketer who will shape a new growth phase at On Japan. You will be the analytical firepower that drives the measurement of our acquisition and retention initiatives and will work cross-functionally to define our digital marketing strategy.

Your Team:

The E-Commerce team at On Japan is a fast-paced place to be with rapid turnaround times and ambitious targets. We closely work with engineers to designers, data scientists and digital marketing specialists locally and globally for creating winning digital customer journey and campaigns that run the full length of the purchase funnel. 

Your Mission:

  • You will work closely and collaborate with global digital marketing team to both create and lead execution of our digital marketing strategy in Japan
  • Your main focus is driving acquisition to grow our Ecommerce business in Japan – this includes monitoring and optimizing existing channels, exploration of new opportunities, working cross functionally and globally to collaborate on new projects and initiatives 
  • You will be responsible for the local digital marketing budget to track and optimize the media performance to grow Japan sales and hit our key KPIs
  • Create and maintain weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reports to provide key learnings and recommendations for budget allocations based on analytics and target KPIs. Share performance and pitch creative ideas to relevant stakeholders 
  • In addition to acquisition strategy, you will support broader mission to grow our Ecommerce business in Japan by supporting on CRM strategy, coordinating digital campaign program management in close collaboration with our Japan and Global Ecommerce team 

Your Story:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in a relevant field of digital marketing, preferably in an e-commerce context and have a substantiated state of technical knowledge in tracking and analyzing (digital) marketing touchpoints 
  • You are familiar with digital acquisition channels and strategies in Japan (relevant experience with Google, Yahoo, and Line preferred)
  • Data and results driven and communicative with a track record of achieving ambitious goals
  • Self-driven, entrepreneurial and excellent problem solver. You enjoy coming up with creative solutions in a fast paced agile environment finding the sweet spot between speed, quality and resourcing in bigger projects
  • Up-to-date with new digital trends and upgrades. You are a core shaper of the digital brand perception
  • Fluently speaking and writing in both Japanese and English
