Your role:

We are in business to save our home planet. Your role will contribute to this by ensuring that our Patagonia Europe retail stores have the appropriate products and level of inventory to meet their targets. This means to essentially ensure that we have the right products, right quantity, at the right time, in the right size and colors on hand in store.

Main tasks:

• Execute allocation strategy for the season in alignment with merchandising, planning, supply and channel head.

• Manage daily allocation tasks such as running replenishment, review released orders, approving store order requests and update weekly reports.

• Analyse and distribute inventory according to the right product, right place, right time philosophy across stores. Report to management and action on outcome of these analyses.

• Best & slow-seller management, comparing stock vs. sales, and participating in bi-weekly business meetings.

• Communicate day-to-day information with the stores in regards to allocation, assortment and supply/inventory.

• Serve as the main contact person between the stores and HQ regarding supply and stock questions.

• Create and release initial orders to the retail stores at the start of each new season.

• Align with Product team to initiate PDM orders for outlet stores.

• Connect with Logistics, Retail operations, BA and IT regarding optimization of allocation processes

• Actively participate in new store openings.

• Provide backup support to the inventory allocator, assisting in their responsibilities as needed.

• Participate actively on the implementation of new projects and give feedback on projects status where needed.

What we’re looking for:

• A love of the outdoors

• A passion for saving our home planet and making a positive impact through your work

• Experience in allocation, in store and/or within the retail business.

• Strong linkage with the retail business.

• Good commercial, analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Process oriented with the ability to identify solutions to problems and opportunities by analyzing data;

• Entrepreneurial mind-set and a pro-active approach to business.

• Ability to work on own initiative;

• Very strong EXCEL skills;

• Power BI and/or Tableau experience is a plus;

• Fluency in English. Other languages are a plus;

• This is a Full-time position based in Amsterdam;

• We have a hybrid work model, working from home for maximum 3 days per week
