We are now seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our store in Oxford (Westgate Shopping Centre).
You will maintain overall responsibility of the store, to create the highest standards within store thus creating a memorable shopping experience. You will manage the store efficiently within present budget guidelines and maximize profit performance by achieving sales targets and controlling costs. You will also ensure that the brand and its product are portrayed at the highest standard.
It’s about grasping the opportunity to use the full extent of your retail skills in an environment which encourages individuality and rewards initiative. Supporting the Store Manager with everything from recruitment through to stock takes, you’ll need to drive sales by creating a great customer experience. We’ll expect you to make sure your team is well-motivated and well-trained, and that they always live and breathe our core values. To join us you’ll need:
•Management experience with a high profile fashion/lifestyle branded retailer
•Strong people management skills
•To lead by example to deliver excellent customer service
•Be a confident team player with strong organisational skills and the ability to lead and motivate the team by setting a positive, hands on example with people at every level.
•Have the flexibility to work 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, including evenings and weekends along with early morning starts or late evening closes
