GENERAL SUMMARY

This is a temporary role within the Merchandising team of the North Face, with the main scope to coordinate & support the European team in achieving the day-to-day duties of the departments & working towards the business goals. 

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Coordinate general product requests for example, market info, samples, product quality etc. for internal departments
  • Create seasonal product briefs as directed by the merchandisers
  • Obtain/collate/analyze sell in and sell through data from EU region
  • Assisting communication to the EHQ, European Subs & the US international merchandise team on product, planning & market information
  • Support European merchandise managers with day-to- day administration 
  • Provide support for department presentations
  • Create seasonal sales analysis and ensure update reports are circulated to the team
  • Be a key contact in development follow-up meetings, as well as forecast meetings
  • Assist with the European price synergy process and actively participate in any new European initiatives that may take place
  • Assist with planning and set up of sales meetings and manage the Go To Market critical path

QUALIFICATIONS

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and /or abilities required for the individual to be successful in this position.

  • Degree in Product Management, Marketing, Economics, or equivalent experience in managing Product lifecycle
  • Strong command of the English language, second European language is an advantage
  • Must have 1-2 years experience in apparel environment with particular area of focus lifestyle and or performance
  • Team player, with strong organizational and communication skills
  • Able to demonstrate analytical skills
  • Expertise in Excel and PowerPoint is essential
  • Fashion conscious with a good understanding of product and able to demonstrate being ‘in touch’ with the market
  • A confident, energetic and proactive person with a visible passion for the product, the  Brand and the activities we build products for
