As Retail Senior Director at On, you will be a key member of our global Commercial leadership team, reporting directly to the Head of commercial strategy. Your mission is to strategically oversee, expand and optimize On’s retail network, overseeing daily operations and managing all retail support functions.

Your mission

As Retail Sr Director, your mission is to lead the retail team, overseeing and optimizing all aspects of the operations of On’s stores as well as playing a key part in the strategic expansion of On’s retail network. Your detailed responsibilities include:

Commercial management
– Develop and implement short and long-term retail strategies, plans, and programs to drive sales
– Ensure that the retail organization is continuously improving store experience to maximize customer satisfaction
– Continuous analysis of the retail P&Ls aiming to optimize efficiency and productivity of POS

Network expansion
– Plan and drive an ambitious network expansion roadmap, maximizing profitability and impact on brand awareness

Retail Training
– Direct the retail training team, to design and implement a 360 strategy of programs, tools and methodologies to foster and promote On’s spirits, commerciality and the higher standards of service

Project management
– Work cross-functionally across all functional areas to plan and execute diverse projects aimed to impact the effectiveness of POS
– Set up of innovative retail processes

Product merchandising
– Lead the Retail merchandising function, to define product strategy in collaboration with Global merchandising.
– Ensure proper inventory and stock management including forecasting, allocation, and merchandising.

Your story

– Background: Strong background in retail with a deep understanding of retail operations in key markets (AMER, APAC, EMEA)
– Experience: Proven experience as a Head of Retail in a high-growth organization, with a track record of managing fast network expansion.
– Leadership: Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, with a history of collaboration across cross-functional teams.
– Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Other languages are a plus.
– Problem-Solving: Skilled problem-solver with the ability to think out of the box
