Job Mission:

The purpose of this role is to develop long term sustainable relationships with our wholesale partners. Managing your team to drive profitable and sustainable market share growth within footwear and apparel across the Lifestyle category. Whilst taking responsibility to manage sales, margin, and inventory across the GBU.

Key Responsibilities:

Commercials

  • Determine and set budgetary needs for your GBU. Set account and GBU sales targets and strategic plans for the achievement of those targets.
  • Work alongside the Sales Manager and other members of the senior FRENCH team to develop and refine the country strategic plan.
  • Responsible for continuing to evolve the account strategies, formalizing plans, and working alongside the sales planning team and Sales Manager .
  • Ensure any developed sales strategy is aligned and consistent with the overall volume objectives of the business.
  • To be creative in fast fashion and the ability to recognise the younger end-consumer
  • To always ensure up to date and in-depth product knowledge
  • Orderbook control – Weekly orderbook meetings with Sales/CS/Logistics to convert open orders and minimise cancellation.
  • Monitor accurate forecasts through the range plan process working with your team, sales planners and the demand planning team.
  • P and L ownership – Oversee strategic commercial negotiations, cost savings, supply agreements and payment terms for accounts to ensure target margins are achieved.
  • Sell Through

  • To monitor sell-out and the order book continuously and competent using excel
  • To work closely with sales planners and account managers to support product forecasting monthly and seasonally
  • To analyse weekly sell through data and communicate to key stakeholders
  • Inventory management and FTS replenishment
  • Communication

  • To provide structured key account feedback on our product and on competitor product innovations
  • Spend regular time with wholesale partners at their headquarters within the UK and abroad.
  • Keep internal key stakeholders up to date with strategic account prospects and opportunities in addition to regular contact with external key decision makers.
  • Collaborating with other sales leads, sales planners and marketing in order to actively develop aligned goals that ensure no conflict of interests between departments.
  • Manage and motivate the sales team through clear goal, objectives, 121’s and appraisals inline with company policies.
  • Travel to New Balance EMEA headquarters, FRANCE while supporting working from home in today’s new world.
