Let’s Talk about the Role
The Social Media Manager is responsible for creating and executing strategies, campaigns, tools, and content that connect with consumers across the full purchase funnel, from planning to execution. This role requires a proven track record in delivering fully integrated social media plans that drive reach and engagement, support e-commerce growth, while expanding the brand’s social media architecture across Europe and strengthening key brand health metrics.
How You Will Make a Difference

Support the development of Social Media strategies with the Senior Brand Comms Manager EMEA and global marketing peers to address EMEA market needs, ensuring global consistency and local relevance.

Manage the brand’s social media channels in EMEA (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Threads, and Strava).

Collaborate with the Influencer team to coordinate the brand’s Influencer and Content Creator Program.

Coordinate and execute social media campaigns, tactics, tools, content and initiatives that fuel demand, drive awareness and engagement, increase traffic, and boost conversion, through daily collaboration with Brand, Creative, PR, Sports Marketing, Events, Ecom, Retail, and Product teams.

Manage and implement the organic social editorial calendar: plan, brief, source, and produce engaging content for distribution across the brand’s social ecosystem.

Partner with Digital and Media teams to implement best-in-class Paid Social strategies.

Engage and educate the wider company affiliates to ensure full cross-channel integration in our social activity.

Track social media activities and leverage insights to continuously improve social media marketing solutions.

Implementation of creative content strategies, to tell meaningful and authentic stories

Manage social media marketing budgets to maximize ROI and achieve financial plans. Track and monitor budget on a monthly-basis to ensure compliance with company-approved numbers.
Skills for Success

Academic: University degree, Bachelor’s or Master’s, in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.

Experience: Minimum 7 years’ experience in digital marketing and social media role, including e-commerce, with proven exposure to Pan-European markets.

Deep understanding of The North Face brand, with genuine passion for the outdoor and athletic industries.

Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with multiple social platforms – including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Strava, and blogs – across both organic and paid channels.

Language skills: Fluent in English (both written and spoken). Notions of German, French, Spanish and Italian would be a plus.
