VANS EMEA is looking for an exceptional Interactive Designer to join our Art Department based in Stabio, Switzerland.

Let’s Talk about the Role

You as Interactive Designer will create pixel perfect graphics, banners, newsletters and responsive landing pages ensuring brand DNA consistency across EMEA.

You will be part of the Vans EMEA art department, developing strong partnerships with your peers in the Marketing department to design brand right creative content.

How You Will Make a Difference

You will achieve this by:

  • Adapting Global Campaign creative materials for EMEA needs and integrate them into the EMEA marketing strategy.

  • Collaborating with the UX team to create design executions with the understanding of how they would be developed on the front-end.

  • Working with web developers on the UI design for web applications.

  • Being able to translate a design idea to all possible devices (desktop, tablet, mobile) and being aware of the limitations they could provide.

  • Ability to work with Brand and Ecommerce teams to blend content storytelling with commercial functionality, while sustaining good working relationships.

Skills for Success

You should be a detail-oriented, process-friendly designer with:

  • 5+ years of related professional experience.

  • Proficiency with design tools: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Indesign, Adobe XD, Figma.

  • User Experience design practices and human centered approach in mind.

  • Deep understanding of UI design and a keen interest in design trends, developments in technology (mobile first) and how integrate them into our environment, practices and workflows.

  • Self-motivation, able to independently prioritize and manage workload and meet critical project deadlines, ability to work within tight timelines on multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken).

  • A deep understanding of the Vans brand DNA and the action sports industry.

A formal education and subsequent University Bachelor or Master’s degree in related fields (Graphic Design, Digital Communication, Interactive Design, Computer Graphics, Information Architecture, Visual Communication etc. – or equivalent combination of education and experience) are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.
