At On, we’re redefining the future of sportswear and we’re looking for a dynamic and results-driven leader of our Nordic Sales team, to continue to grow and elevate an established Sales team to contribute to On’s success in the region, becoming an integral part of the EMEA leadership team. You will join an integrated sub regional EMEA North Sales team to deliver a strong cross-functional way of working that brings the brand to life in the eyes of the consumer.
Through your strategic, dynamic, consumer centric and strong leadership approach, you will play an essential part in building a high performance team and help to sustainably grow a diverse and empowered team. Which in turn will further develop and build the brand through a clear channel, customer, community and consumer approach.
Your mission
TEAM:
– Coach, train, and develop team members, identifying and nurturing future talents and leaders.
– Establish integrated sub-regional collaboration with Marketing, Brand Experience, and DTC teams to strengthen and grow the brand.
– Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments to achieve On’s performance objectives and meet consumer needs.
– Play a pivotal role in shaping the new sales organizational structure, culture, and ways of working.

LEADERSHIP:
– Provide exceptional leadership, fostering a high-performance culture in a supportive work environment.
– Act as a change agent, challenging the status quo and driving positive transformation.
– Exhibit strong influencing skills, engaging stakeholders at all levels with adaptable communication.
– Be results-driven, entrepreneurial, solution-oriented, and a critical thinker.
Regularly review team performance against strategic pillars and KPIs.
COMMERCIAL:
– Develop and execute an integrated sub-regional strategy focusing on community, consumer-centricity, and a multi-channel approach.
– Proactively lead strategic account planning with Key Accounts, aligning on consumer understanding and delivering performance objectives over a 3-year period.
– Plan and execute seasonal Go-To-Market (GTM) excellence for effective product launches and marketing campaigns.
– Lead the team in analyzing and monitoring consumer demand, category trends, competitor assortment, and identifying gaps in current assortment, content availability, pricing, and stock availability.
Your story
– Typically 8+ years of leadership experience, emphasizing excellent leadership, team empowerment, and talent development.
– Relevant experience in Commercial, Marketing, Buying & Merchandising, FMCG, Consulting, Digital-Ecommerce-OMNI channel, Brand delivery, or Planning.
– Proven track record defining brands across various channels and consumer touchpoints.
– Deep understanding of Nordic consumer culture, market dynamics, and retail channels.
– Expertise in building co-created partnerships through a strategic channel and commercial approach.
– Comprehensive knowledge of OMNI channels, including digital, e-commerce, and brick-and-mortar.
– Strong business acumen with strategic thinking, numerical proficiency, analytical skills, and critical problem-solving.
– Open-minded and self-aware, prioritizing understanding others before being understood.
– Possesses a growth mindset, consistently aiming beyond the current horizon.
– Experience in leading teams and managing accounts in multiple markets, effectively delivering the brand proposition.
– Fluent in either Swedish, Danish or Norwegian.
– Fluent or C1+ level in both written and spoken English as this is our shared professional language at On.
– Willingness to travel in Nordics & Europe as needed (approx. 10 – 20%)

As the leader of our Nordic Sales team, you will grow your team and elevate the Nordic market to continue to accelerate On’s success in the region, becoming an integral part of the North leadership team. You will join an integrated sub regional team to deliver a strong cross-functional way of working that brings the brand to life in the eyes of the consumer. You will report to the Head of Northern Europe Sales.
