OVERVIEW
Salomon is seeking a Conversion Rate Optimization Specialist to lead the conversion optimization efforts for Salomon.com in North America. The Conversion Rate Optimization Specialist will be responsible for analyzing website performance, identifying conversion barriers, and implementing strategies to enhance the user experience and drive conversion rate improvements. This role requires a deep understanding of eCommerce best practices, website analytics, and user behavior analysis.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily:

Website Audit and Analysis:

  • Conduct comprehensive audits of Salomon.com to identify conversion barriers and areas for improvement.
  • Analyze website performance metrics and user behavior data to uncover optimization opportunities.

Strategy Development and Execution:

  • Develop and execute a robust conversion rate optimization strategy to enhance website performance.
  • Plan and analyze A/B and multivariate tests to optimize key website elements.

Collaboration and Implementation:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement site enhancements and A/B testing initiatives.
  • Share insights and best practices with the global eCommerce team to drive continuous improvement.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Monitor website performance and KPIs to track progress and measure success.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders on optimization initiatives and their impact.

Research and Continuous Learning:

  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to conversion rate optimization and user experience design.

 

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES & COMPETENCIES

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in eCommerce conversion rate optimization or digital marketing.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proven track record of improving conversion rates and driving revenue growth.
  • Proficiency in website analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
  • Experience with A/B testing platforms like Optimizely or VWO.
  • Knowledge of UX/UI design principles and website usability best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
