Job Description

We are recruiting for a new Area Sales Manager for Denmark!

The main responsabilities will be to:

  • Develop a seasonal “Game Plan” to develop Salomon`s’ premium partner and other accounts in key markets, with omni focus.
  • Create and present plans to accounts to develop key categories, drive sell-thru, and engage with consumers.
  • Build a joint business and consumer plan with assigned premium partners that deliver on key strategic objectives of Salomon and maximize consumer preference at the specialty retailer.
  • Deliver profitable and sustainable growth with the retailer.
  • Utilize Salomon trade marketing/sell thru programs Coordination with the other internal customer contacts (Customer Service & IMM).
  • Train store employees and manage consumers events/demo in premium partner accounts as required.
  • Participate in store consumer events.
  • Coordinate yearly consumer and marketing plan for Premium Partners.
  • Share best practice across sales & Marketing Team.

 

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will hold a High school level education minimum and a Degree level ideally, as well as 5+ years in a similar selling role with account management focus. Any other experience in the Sports and Outdoor Industry will be welcomed

Languages : Fluent English and local language skills

Computer skills :  

  • Microsoft office – particularly strong excel skills

Extensive spreadsheet analysis experience with strong mathematical abilities.

Interested in running and competence in the Danish running market.
