Develop, implement, govern and manage Compensation & Benefits as well as Cross-Border Employment tools, programmes and processes. Both so that our employees are paid competitively and gender neutrally and meet the needs of our employees in all generations to create moments that matter and reasons to join and stay.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compensation Expert Operations:
    • Purchase and manage surveys and create compensation benchmark for a position or a group of positions. Consult HRMs on the results.
    • Perform, review and consult on grading for HRMs
    • Prepare, maintain and propose market reference ranges
    • Maintain job catalogue
    • Assistance and preparation of (Executive) pay proposals
    • Input into and implement Global executive compensation tools, programs and processes
    • Prepare STI target structure, mapping of employees and ensure upload in the system
    • Collection and communication of local target achievement results
  • Benefits Expert Operations:
    • Manage vendor relationships and oversee smooth Operations of plans
    • Regular review of local Benefits plans incl. contract renewals and/or tenders
  • Cross Border Employment Expert Operations:
    • Case Management of Executive moves
  • Rewards Concept Design:
    • Define, design and maintain Compensation, Benefits & Cross Border Employment concepts and policies and co-create global frameworks, including creation and updating policy documents as well as input for the required works council agreements where applicable
    • Implement, improve, communicate Compensation, Benefits & Cross Border Employment programs
    • Ensure excellent administration of Compensation, Benefits & Cross Border Employment policies, tools and processes.
  • Training, Communication and Change Management:
    • Design and execute change management concepts for local, strategic and global Compensation and Benefits as well as Cross Border Employment programs
    • Provide conceptual, technical and process trainings to HR where applicable
    • Create, prepare, deliver local/individual communication to employees on global, local and strategic Comp & Benefits as well as Cross Border Employment programs as well as legal requirements and tax implications in matters relating to remuneration
  • Compliance:
    • Identification, translation and implementation of new local legal requirements and ensuring adherence of contracts to local and global policies
    • Ensures full compliance with legal, labor relations, tax and social insurance requirements including to comply with local government reporting and filing regulations and requirements for all rewards matters
    • Interpret and implement tariff/collective/statutory agreements and consequences
    • Define and execute locally relevant actions on Rewards audits incl. follow ups

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications

  • University degree or equivalent
  • 6+ years of overall work experience in Rewards in international companies with matrix structures
