We are now searching for a relationship driven and dedicated Key Account Manager, responsible for our Key accounts, Franchise and Specialty accounts in Switzerland.

We believe the right person for the job is driven by making a difference and taking sales, results and customer relations to the next level. The position reports directly to the Head of BTB.

As a Key Account Manager at Peak Performance you will be responsible for implementing and managing the company sales and distribution objectives to contribute to the long-term overall success of the brand. In addition to looking after the key accounts, a second big part of this role will be to strengthen and build up our Specialists with a clear focus on ski and outdoor and develop our Franchise stores. Using the company’s resources, you will meet the individual needs of the Key Account and the Specialists to support and service the regional business. You will collaborate with other stakeholder within the company and the sales team global.

The position is based at our office in Zurich but you will be expected to travel a minimum of 30% of your time.

Your main responsibilities:

Key Account management:

  • Total account management of a defined group of Key Accounts
  • Strategically develop business and create new opportunities with these accounts
  • Apply the strategic plan which has been set for the Central European marketplace
  • Ensure reaching sales objectives according to the budget plan
  • Ensure timely delivery of products, through strong planning according to deadlines and through close partnership with the back-office team

Specialty/Franchise Account management

  • Leading and develop our franchise stores
  • Looking for new franchise opportunities in connection with our strong partners
  • Strengthen, intensify and build up our specialty distribution with focus on Outdoor and Ski
  • Build successful long-term relationships with this specialty accounts and implement the local marketing actions to get credibility and increase brand awareness
  • Ensure reaching sales objectives according to the budget plan
  • Ensure timely delivery of products, through strong planning according to deadlines and through close partnership with the back-office team

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Omni Channel experience and a strong digital background
  • DTC and BTB experience
  • Bachelor or master’s degree with approximately 6 years’ relevant experience in sales
  • Numbers driven and strong analytical skills
  • Strong experience in the region’s sporting goods industry (ski/outdoor industry experience is needed)
  • Strong team player and connector with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work successfully with a variety of people to create long-lasting relations
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ambitious to learn, flexible and willing to develop rapidly
  • A cool personality with a determined and performance-oriented mind-set
  • Good understanding of strategic processes and how to manage a holistic regional marketplace
  • Sympathetic professional that can work in a very pro-active way
  • Must be highly organized, flexible, self-motivated individual
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and written in German and English, (French beneficial)
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in MS applications
  • A work hard, play hard mentality, with a great sense of initiative, humor and loyalty
  • A driven and energetic, authentic personality with passion and preferably a background in sports
