Tasks:

• Research and evaluation of current market trends for packaging application, competitors benchmarking
• Brainstorming packaging ideas
• Design and development of packaging solutions for the Group Brand portfolio, from concept to production (well-rounded knowledge of structural design for paperboard and corrugated board, latest standards of sustainability and disposal regulation).
• Assessment of time-efficient solutions considering design requirements, functionality, and production costs
• Ability to manage multiple projects, in coordination with product managers, graphic department, sales and marketing.
• Communication and visualization of concepts mock-ups to product managers, sales representatives, and marketing
• Identification of suitable packaging materials (substrates, inks, coatings and finishing)
• Creation and testing of packaging dielines (for primary packaging like boxes, headercards, multi-packs…)
• Creation of packaging production artworks, following the brands guidelines, to ensure the consistency of the Brand’s image
• Design user manuals with technical drawings
• Development of prototypes with the suppliers
• Creation and revision of pre-press/pre-production documents.
• Maintenance and updating of graphic assets library, and of packaging component through PLM

 

 

 

Your Profile:

• Education graduate or bachelor’s degree in Packaging design, Product design or a similar field
• Enthusiastic about packaging and sustainability
• Proven experience working as a packaging designer, especially for structural design development and testing
• Familiarity with various packaging materials
• General knowledge of consumer packaging health and safety regulations
• Proficiency with Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Strong 3d visualization skills (sketching, 3D modeling)
• Artios CAD & Studio is an advantage
