Due to a sustained period of growth and a recent territory expansion, KAPPA EUROPE is now searching for a Team Sport Business Developer, to take charge of the Team Sport activity in BENELUX.

The Team Sport Business Developer will be responsible for the commercial development of the team wear and accessories collections (enclosed catalogue) to sport teams in BENELUX.

KAPPA EUROPE has built a strong success story in FRANCE on the Team Sport Business side, mainly through the quality and availability (within 48 hours) of all the product line.

Development and implementation of the commercial strategy to ensure growth and visibility of the brand among Football, Rugby, Handball, Basket, Fitness, Running, Tennis, in clubs and communities. The Team Sport Business Developer will look at transferring and adapting the existing strategy and experience to the local requirements and specificities

Identify and contract wholesalers, agents and local distributors allowing an efficient access to clubs and communities
Negotiate annual budgets and visibility of the brand
Follow-up revenue and order book
Sales presentation of football, handball, running / training / fitness (shoe, textile, accessory) collections
Search for business opportunities and new prospects
Set up of commercial operations with trade marketing & sports marketing teams
Active survey of competitors’ collections for the Design teams at HQ
Work in close collaboration with the purchasing department and sourcing to achieve the productions of the club collections in the best conditions (price, quality, deadlines)

The profile that they are hoping to attract, in terms of background and experience:
Strong experience in the team sport market
Good understanding of the distribution schemes
Access to the key actors in the team sport market
Strong sensitivity to sporting goods product and market
Experience working within an international team
Commercially astute with sound communication skills
Native Dutch, Fluent in English, French is a big plus
Passionate and with an inherent love for sport performance
Autonomous, good communicator
Flexible + open minded.
