INTERNSHIP ROLE

We are looking for Designer Intern to join Timberland within VF EMEA Internship Program.

KEY INTERNSHIP INFO

• Start date: October 1st  2024.

• For the first 6 months your salary will be 1600chf/month, while for the following 6 months it is 1900chf/month.

• We cannot grant that internship will lead you to the permanent position, but thanks to the effective training 70% of interns are staying in the company after the internship period!

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

Interns in the design team are involved in every part of the process and have roles and responsibilities as other designers in team, albeit with more support.

• Full understanding of the design process from trend research to final garment execution.

• Trend Researching.

• Presentation Skills.

• Sketching for review process.

• Techpacking.

• Fit sessions + Proto reviewing.

• Training and mentorship from the Senior Designer Interaction and visibility with all the other departments across the apparel engine 3D software training Becoming a brand ambassador and understanding Archive management.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

• You will have a student status while beginning an internship or you have graduated already before in 2024 – it’s a must.

• You are fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• You have curious mindset with passion for working with people.

• You are eager to learn and face up new challenges.

• First experience such as other internships, extracurricular activities, is considered as a plus.
